The IEEE 802.11n standard has been signed off since 2009, but Wifi devices were availablke a long time before that date (Draft N devices). To make full use of the MIMO technology, multiple antennas or antenna with multiple systems of different polarisation are required. These antennas are presented here.
On this page you will find:
PA-5000-15DS
5GHz flat panel antenna with two antenna systems in one box, highly suitable for 802.11n systems. Both antennas have a gain of 15dBi which make it useful for long distance point-to-point links with up to 150Mbit/s (speed depends on hardware, distance etc.). The antenna is shipped with a versatile tilt/swivel mast mount for easy adjustment in azimuth and elevation direction. Two N female connectors for excellent weather resilience in outdoor use.

The antenna PA-13RDUAL (18033.DUAL) is an antenna including two systems with different polarisation (V/H). It is intended for point-to-point apllications using the 802.11N technology. Normally 802.11n makes use of indoor reflections, resulting in multi-path propagation and higher throughput. WIth point-to-point systems (outdoor) you usually have no or only little reflections, 802.11n can not achieve it's full potential. But with the use of two different polarised antennas a multi-path enviroment is simulated, and 802.11n can again be used at higher data rates.

The antenna MA-2400-8-DS (18670.24) is an antenna including two systems with different polarisation (V/H). It is intended for point-to-point apllications using the 802.11N technology. Normally 802.11n makes use of indoor reflections, resulting in multi-path propagation and higher throughput. But with the use of two different polarised antennas a multi-path enviroment is simulated, and 802.11n can again be used at higher data rates.
In contrast to other antennas the MA-2400-8-DS has a larger half-power beam width and is therefore well suited for illuminating large yards, halls etc. A bracket for wall mounting is included, a mast mount is available optionally.

Bridgepoynt (18790)
The "Bridgepoynt" is a flat panel wireless LAN antenna (5 GHz) with a weatherproof empty housing. This box is ideally suited for intergation of an accesspoint our WiFi router. Due to the short cable length to the antenna the attenuation is minimal. The external connection is done with an RJ45 ethernet cable, the feed through is protected against water, as well as the box itself of course (class IP65). So the electronics are always perfectly protected.
The Bridgepoynt housing is an ideal solution for the setup of WiFi hotspots or point-to-point links, where the required cable length to an external antenna is too long. The inner size of the box is sufficient to install mostly any AP or router, the PCB is mounted to the solid metal backplane. The power supply is done with power-over-ethernet (POE).
Nuovo
The 5GHz enclosure is now available in a dual polarity version. Integrated into the enclosure are two antennas, one with vertical, the other with horizontal polarization. These two differently polarized antennas help systems like 802.11n (MIMO) to achieve a higher transmission rate. Both antennas have the same gain of approx. 18-20dBi ±0.5dB. The mutual isolation between the antennas is better than 35dB.

The Dual Polarity Sector antenna 18680.12 is inteded for use with 802.11n equipment and has two separate antenan systems with different polarisations integrated. This results in a multi path propagation useable for 802.11n.
Sector antennas are normally used to illuminate large yards, halls, production facilities, or to build omni-directional antennas by combining three or four of these antennas.
The sector antenna uses polarisation planes with a 45° slant. A tilt mount is included. Connectors are two N female sockets, the antenna is weatherproof for outdoor use.
